WILMINGTON, NC –The deadline for nominations for the UNCW Young Alumni Award has been extended to Friday, Jan. 24. The award is sponsored by the UNCW Young Alumni Council and will recognize a young man or woman who graduated between 1992 and 2002 for outstanding contributions to the university and the community.

Nominations should be sent to Tom Lamont, assistant director of alumni relations, Wise Alumni House, 1713 Market Street, Wilmington, NC 28403 or emailed to lamontt@uncw.edu.

The winner will be recognized at the Young Alumni Council’s Homecoming 2003 social Feb. 7 at Bessie’s downtown
