UNCW Hosting “Spiral of Diversity” Art Exhibit

WILMINGTON, NC – The University of North Carolina at Wilmington will host the exhibit “Spiral of Diversity” from Friday, Jan. 24, through Monday, March 10, in its University Union Living Room. The display features works by minority students at East Carolina University’s School of the Art.ECU art students Randall Leach and Jamaal Barber headed efforts to create “Spiral of Diversity,” which was displayed in spring 2002 at the university’s Ledonia Wright Cultural Center in Greenville. The exhibit includes paintings, illustrations, textiles and drawings. UNC Wilmington will hold an opening reception for the exhibit from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 at the display.
