Let's Talk! UNCW & You hosted by Betty Ann Sanders airs noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 and 7-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25 and 7-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28 on TLN, Time Warner Cable Channel 5 and 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, Saturday Feb.26 and Monday, Feb. 28 on Charter Cable, Channel 4 serving Topsail, North Topsail, Surf City and Hampstead).

The guest lineup for the show includes:

SPORTS CORNER--Tom Riordan, assistant sports information director and Mike Capaccio, administrative assistant for the Seahawk basketball teams, discuss a new program that focuses on student/athletes' grades and attendance.

MONEY TALKS --Louis H. Rogers III and Mike Pearce, Small Business & Technology Development Center, discuss the state's new financial assistance program for businesses affected by hurricane Floyd.

ORGANIC GARDENING--Michael Johnson, horticultural director at a correctional institution, discusses growing tomatoes organically and shows viewers two varieties--Roma and 1885 Amish Brandywine. Mr. Johnson heads a program that donates the vegetables raised to Good Shepherd House.

SCIENCE FAIR--UNCW professor Jack Hall and eight award-winning students from Hoggard High School, who have competed at the state and national Math and Science competition for the past 3 years, visit Betty Ann.

MUSIC--The Harmony Belles sing a medley from the group's World War II program, including The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B, Mood Indigo and In The Mood

FACULTY FOCUS--Karel Dutton, program director for Lifelong Learning in UNCW's Division for Public Service and Extended Education, discusses the new Lifelong Learning Society that gives members discounts on Pathway offerings, Randall Library membership and special programs. STUDENT FOCUS-UNCW student Christina Price discusses her spinal cord injury, her physical therapy regimen as well as the importance of spinal cord injury research and awareness.
