UNCW Seeks Public Input on Diversity Report

comment on the “Report on the Status of Ethnic Diversity at UNCW.”Two upcoming sessions are scheduled:
• 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Center Stage Café, Warwick Center.
• 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, UNCW Conference Room, 5051 New Centre Drive. This session is bilingual for members of the Hispanic/Latino community.
UNCW and members of the Chancellor’s Task Force on Diversity are interested in obtaining community response to the report and, most importantly, community suggestions that may contribute to UNCW becoming an even better place to learn and work.

The Chancellor’s Task Force on Diversity was charged with examining the issue of diversity on campus with special emphasis on racial/ethnic diversity as it relates to faculty, students, staff and outreach activities. It will furnish recommendations by April 1.
