WILMINGTON, NC – Two Grammy-nominated artists are coming to Wilmington. Southern rap artist Ludacris and North Carolina native Petey Pablo will roll into UNCW’s Trask Coliseum for the “ACE Seaside Jam” concert at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 29. (Doors open at 7 p.m.) Sponsored by University of North Carolina at Wilmington’s Association for Campus Entertainment (ACE), tickets are $15 for UNCW students and $30 for non-students.

The Association for Campus Entertainment is a student organization that programs multiple student activities throughout the year through the use of student fees and ticket sales. No taxpayer or tuition monies are used for any of ACE’s programs.

The “ACE Seaside Jam” is an annual event in which ACE chooses a big name performer based on expressed student interest in specific genres and artists. ACE survey results from the past two years have listed rap and hip-hop as the number one genre requested by students for the “ACE Seaside Jam.” Most recently, Ludacris has performed at Davidson College, Virginia Commonwealth University and Western Carolina University.
