Director Barbara D’Alessandro to Speak for UNCW Movie Makers Lecture

WILMINGTON, NC -- Director Barbara D’Alessandro will discuss her work in the film industry from 2 to 4 p.m., Friday, April 11 in UNCW’s Morton Hall, Bryan Auditorium, as part of the Movie Makers Lecture Series sponsored by the university’s Film Studies Department.



D’Alessandro has worked as first assistant director on dozens of feature films, television series and movies and commercials. Her credits include Miss Lettie and Me, The Angel Doll, Dawson’s Creek, Matlock, American Gothic, Freedom Song and The Rosa Parks Story.
