WILMINGTON – UNC Wilmington Chancellor Rosemary DePaolo this afternoon announced that the Chancellor’s Office is offering a reward of $250 for information that identifies the person responsible for vandalizing and removing the Seahawk statue from campus Monday night July 21.

Although the Seahawk was returned to campus thanks to an observant WECT-TV6 photographer who saw it on the steps of her apartment complex, this is a serious incident that needs to be resolved.
