RE: Press Opportunity with Matchbox Twenty

The University of North Carolina at Wilmington will host Matchbox Twenty in concert as part of Family Weekend at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 in UNCW’s Trask Coliseum.

The press opportunity will potentially include opportunity for photography and shooting of the first three songs with Matchbox Twenty.

Media must make requests for authorization to professionally photograph, film or otherwise visually represent any portion of the performance in writing to the producer’s management a minimum of 48 hours before show time. E-mail requests to Adam Tobey, adam@concertideas.com. Media must then sign a photo release form provided by the producer or producer’s representatives in order to visually record any aspect of the engagement, artist or the performance.

Media and other personnel having obtained the foregoing authorization must bring with them to the engagement the appropriate “press” credentials. All media personnel press privileges at the engagement are conditioned on their compliance with the instructions of the producer or the producer’s representatives. Media will not bring any press or photographers backstage at any time without the producer’s prior permission.

Subject to approval by the producer or producer’s representatives any duly authorized persons will be issued the appropriate pass and permitted to shoot the first three songs from the security area in front of the stage.

At any time the band reserves the right to refuse or change permissions.
