UNCW Hosts Chapel Hill Professor's Lecture About Iraq

WILMINGTON, NC – The History Department of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington announces a lecture by Sarah D. Shields, associate professor of Middle Eastern History, UNC at Chapel Hill. Professor Shields' lecture is entitled "Understanding Iraqi Identity in Historical Context." The lecture is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 in Dobo Hall, Room 134. Professor Shields received her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. She is the author of a monograph and several articles on Iraq. A reception will follow the lecture.
