UNCW Offers Public Program on "American in Iraq"

WILMINGTON, NC—The History Department of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington is sponsoring a public program on the topic: “America in Iraq: What’s Next?” The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 in Bryan Auditorium, Morton Hall, Room 100. This event is free and open to the public.

Panelists will include Dr. James Leutze, chancellor emeritus; Remonda Kleinberg, professor of political science; Lisa Pollard, professor of history; and Robert Toplin, professor of history. They will consider the events and decisions that led to war and America’s commitment to rebuild Iraq, as well as offer judgments about the best course of action in view of recent events. The audience will have the opportunity to comment.
