WILMINGTON, NC – Paul D. Knott, CFP, Smith Barney and Lincoln Financial Distributors are sponsoring the University of North Carolina at Wilmington Institute for Tax and Investment Planning for certified public accountants and attorneys Nov. 5 and 6 at UNCW’s Executive Development Center at Landfall. The institute will feature 14 presenters and offer certification credits.

It is designed to provide cutting edge strategies and ideas for practicing professionals. The institute features leading experts in the field of tax, estate, trust, philanthropic and investment planning and will highlight benefits and problems areas for practicing professionals.

The cost for accountants is $289, which includes course materials, luncheons, refreshments and 19 hours of CPE credit. The cost for attorneys is $325, which includes course materials, luncheons, refreshments and a fee of $2.25 per hour for 16 hours of CLE credit as required by the North Carolina Bar Association.
