UNCW University Theatre Opens Season with Boys' Life Production

WILMINGTON, NC- The University of North Carolina at Wilmington’s University Theatre announces the first production of its 2003-04 season, Boys’ Life, directed by Ed Wagenseller, lecturer in the Department of Arts and Theatre. The comedy runs two weekends starting 8 p.m. Sept. 26 and 27; 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28; 8 p.m. Oct. 1 through 4; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 in the SRO Theatre in Kenan Hall on the UNCW campus.Boys’ Life follows the story of three friends through their journey into adulthood and the inevitable responsibilities that they must take on. The New Yorker calls Boys’ Life “a balanced and intelligent comment on the battle of sexes.” This show is intended for mature audiences.
Ed Wagenseller directs a cast of talented UNCW undergraduate students in this, his fourth show for University Theatre. The design cast includes Seamus Bourne, scenic, Retta Ewell, costume, and Scott McElheney, lighting.
General admission is $8, $2 for UNCW students with valid ID.
