UNCW To Host Lecture on U.S. Foreigh Policy and the War in Iraq

WILMINGTON, NC – Walter Andrusysyzn, National Security Council director of central and northern Europe and advisor to President Bush, will speak on U.S. Transnational Relations, U.S. Foreign Policy and the Iraq War at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 in Dobo Hall, Room 202 at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The lecture is sponsored by the Department of Political Science and the International Affairs Association and is open and free to the public.

Andrusysyzn directed the State Department’s counter-terrorism task force after 9/11, the largest task force in State Department history. He has received numerous awards and accolades, the most notable being the Secretary of States Award for Heroism while serving in Bosnia.
