The university is officially open unless an announcement is made otherwise through the media or this hotline. Evening classes for Jan. 26, 2004, will be held as scheduled. If travel conditions are unsafe, employees and students should make their own determination whether it is safe to travel, and students should contact their professors. Students and faculty in the UNCW Onslow County extension program should follow Coastal Carolina Community College’s schedule announced on local media or at 910/455-1221.
