Business Week Focuses on Career Opportunities

Wilmington -- The Cameron School of Business at UNC Wilmington will host its annual Business Week events March 24-25 in Cameron Hall on the UNCW campus. Begun more than 20 years ago, this event features sessions in which representatives from the private and public sectors discuss possible career opportunities with their respective organizations. This year’s events feature more than 40 such sessions.Some of the session topics are Entrepreneurship and Career Building for the Businesswoman, Managing a Restaurant Chain in Challenging Times, e-Commerce in the Post Dot Com Era, Importance of Public Relations / Promotions in Business, Opportunities in the Broadcast Industry, and Searching the Web: Getting Noticed and Getting What You Want from the Web.
A special session will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 25, in Cameron Hall Room 105 to recognize five outstanding business school alumni. The detailed program can be found at http://www.csb.uncw.edu. All sessions are in Cameron Hall classrooms and are open to UNCW students and the public on a space available basis.
This year’s events coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Cameron School. The week will culminate with a full day of activities for students, alumni, faculty, and staff on Saturday, March 27.
