UNCW Graduate Bridgid Rathgeb Eversole Gives Concert

Wilmington, N.C. – University of North Carolina at Wilmington graduate Bridgid Rathgeb Eversole will perform a concert of lieder with pianist Patricia Ainspac, cellist Michael Hickman and flutist Mary Jo White at 8 p.m. Friday, April 2 in Kenan Auditorium. The program will include songs from Bach, Schumann, Bellini, Debussy and Britten. Tickets are $5 for general admission; $2.50 for seniors, staff and children under 12; and free to UNCW students with a valid ID.

Bridgid Eversole, soprano, completed her master’s degree in vocal performance at the University of Minnesota, where she was a recipient of the Sutton Opera Scholarship. While completing her undergraduate degree in vocal performance at UNCW she won the Richard R. Deas Concerto Competition and was honored as the UNCW Department of Music Distinguished Graduate. She graduated from UNCW in 2000 and is currently a voice instructor at UNCW. Patricia Ainspac graduated from Julliard School of Music and has played piano all over the world. While in New York, she accompanied many renowned singers. Michael Hickman is a cello major at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. His father is Joe Hickman, choral director at UNCW. Mary Jo White is the visiting assistant professor of flute and theory at UNCW and the principal flutist of the Wilmington Symphony.
