Task Force on Campus Violence Prevention

You are invited to attend the first meetings of the Task Force on Education and Training Initiatives for Campus Violence Prevention and the Task Force on Campus Violence Prevention at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., respectively, Friday, July 2 in Alderman Hall, Room 215.

A task force on education and training initiatives for campus violence prevention is being formed to conduct a review of all current programs and training seminars on topics of dating and domestic violence, stalking, harassment and sexual assault. This committee will be asked to examine all current programs and recommend what additional offerings should be added to supplement our programs.

The task force on campus violence prevention is being formed to review the safety and security of the campus community, with particular emphasis on student interactions with each other. It will consist of people from outside the university as well as faculty, staff, and students at UNCW.
