Please be advised there will be a special called meeting of the Executive Committee of the UNCW Board of Trustees at 8 a.m., Friday, June 4, 2004, originating in Alderman Hall, Room 110.

The business of the meeting, to be conducted in closed session as allowed under the Open Meeting Act, will be to:

• establish or instruct the staff or agent concerning the negotiations of the amount of compensation or other terms of an employment contract

[NCGS 143-318.11(a)(5)]; and

• consider the qualifications, competence, performance, condition of appointment of a public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee

[NCGS 143-318.11(a)(6)].
