Cameron School of Business announces new department chairs

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Three new department chairs have been announced by the Cameron School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Randall Hanson will be interim chair for the Department of Accountancy and Business Law. Hanson, a professor of business law, has been at UNCW since 1990. Prior to joining the faculty, he taught at the University of North Dakota, Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, and Bemidji State University in Minnesota. Hanson received the Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence in 1999.
James Hunt will be serving as chair of the Department of Management and Marketing. Hunt, a professor of marketing, has been at UNCW since 1990. Prior to joining the faculty, he was an assistant professor of marketing at Baylor University in Texas. Hunt received the UNCW Distinguished Teaching Professorship and Board of Trustees Teaching Excellence Award in 2003.
Cem Canel will be serving as chair of the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management. Canel, a professor of production and operations management, has been at UNCW since 1992. Prior to joining the faculty, he was a teaching fellow and assistant at the University of Houston.
