As of 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, UNCW is in the tropical storm warning area for Tropical Storm Alex. UNCW employees should refer to the Adverse Weather Policy and students should contact their professors if it is unsafe to travel from home in the morning. UNCW continues to monitor this storm and will update this message as necessary.
