Wilmington, N.C. – The University of North Carolina at Wilmington Surplus Store sale will be held from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20 at the Warehouse Extension on Plyler Drive. Parking will be available street side and in the parking lot located behind University Police.

All items are priced at $100 or less. Although items in the Surplus Store will vary, the types of items available this month include refrigerators, food processing equipment, computers, desks and chairs.

UNCW Surplus Store Sales are open to the general public for cash sales only. No checks or credit cards are accepted. Items are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties. The university cannot deliver items sold. And all goods purchased must be taken away from the Warehouse by 3:30 p.m. on the day of the sale. Loading help will be minimal for this sale and will need a liability release from the customer before any assistance is given.

Sales are generally held the third Friday of each month, but interested persons should check the surplus Web site at http://www.uncw.edu/ba/surplus/index.htm for specific dates.
