UNCW School of Nursing students receive fellowships

Wilmington, N.C.–The University of North Carolina at Wilmington will offer two School of Nursing master’s students nursing fellowships totaling $19,000 a year per student for two years.

Graduate students Sandra O’Donnell and Leann Dillon were awarded the fellowships.

This is Nursing Fellowship plan is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor through the N.C. Department of Commerce.

UNCW has two two-year fellowships from this program. Each annual fellowship is composed of a $15,000 fellowship and a $4,000 stipend for tuition, fees and supplies. The set amount per award is $19,000 per year. The duration of the program is two-years.
