We are monitoring Hurricane Frances. UNCW students and employees are encouraged to solidify plans in case the storm worsens and an evacuation is necessary. Students are requested to notify their families of their plans. If the university remains open on Tuesday, students should use their best judgment if travel conditions are unsafe and are encouraged to contact their professors. Employees should refer to the adverse weather policy. Should severe weather impact the local region, please refer to this hotline, the UNCW homepage, and local media for updates and cancellations.
