Leadership North Carolina Announces Twelfth Class

Wilmington, N.C.– Virginia Adams, dean of the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, is among fifty leading citizens from across the state who will form the 2004-05 class for Leadership North Carolina.

Leadership North Carolina selects citizens who are current or emerging leaders in their organizations and/or communities. The class meets six times over seven months in cities across the state to explore the most pressing issues in the key areas of economic development, education, environment, government/politics and health and human services. The faculty is comprised of top leaders from government, business, education and nonprofit organizations.

Over four hundred graduates of the program are connected by Leadership North Carolina to continuing opportunities to serve the state.
