UNCW student contestant for Miss North Carolina Teen Pageant

WILMINGTON, N.C. — Caroline Byrd Paul, 18, a first year student at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, was fourth runner-up in a field of 66 contestants in the Miss North Carolina Teen Pageant.

The pageant is held for young women ages 16 through 18 who are judged in the evening gown, personal introduction and interview competitions.

Paul won a cash award, a trophy, a bouquet of roses and an invitation to appear in the Queen's Court in the national pageant in Los Angeles. Paul's pageant sponsors include Nations Home Funding and The Ultimate Look, both in Durham, N.C.
