You are invited to meet Sherman Emerging Scholar Kim Cragin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in Leutze Hall, Room 246 for media interviews prior to her lecture at 7:30 p.m. in the Warwick Center ballroom. Please join us if you can, and you are also invited to cover the lecture that evening.

Cragin, international policy analyst at the RAND Corporation and candidate for a Ph.D. in history at Cambridge University, UK, is the third Sherman Emerging Scholar in the Department of History at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She was selected in national competition for this distinction.

In the capacity of Sherman Emerging Scholar, Cragin will deliver a public lecture titled, “Terrorism: Past, Present, and Future Trends,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in the Warwick Center Ballroom on the campus of UNCW. A reception will immediately follow the lecture in the lobby of the Warwick Center. The lecture is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.
