As you will recall, First Secretary Hekmat Karzai, Embassy of Afghanistan, Washington, D.C., will be the featured speaker to launch the 2005 Great Decisions foreign policy lecture series at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I hope you will cover this exciting opportunity to have a major player on the world stage here in Wilmington at UNCW. We have also arranged a press opportunity for you to speak with him at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19 in the Department of Political Science conference room, Leutze Hall, Room 255.
