The criminal investigation of a rape, which was reported to the UNCW Police Department Jan. 6, 2005, and alleged to have occurred Sept. 17, 2004, in Cornerstone Hall, has concluded. The investigation does not support filing criminal charges. If additional information or evidence becomes available, the case will be re-opened, and the appropriateness of criminal charges reconsidered.
