YWCA starts CEU Musical Magic workshop

Wilmington, N.C. – University of North Carolina Wilmington music professor Dan Johnson will be teaching the Musical Magic workshop, a weekend seminar sponsored by the YWCA and designed for classroom teachers and childcare workers. Classes will be held at the YWCA in Wilmington from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 and continuing from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29. The workshop will be $72 for YWCA members and $120 for non-members plus a nominal materials fee. Contact YWCA at 910/799-6820 for registration information by Wednesday, Jan 26.

The weekend course is an interactive workshop which will include practical examples of instrumental, singing and movement activities, with a one hour follow-up lesson plan to be returned to Johnson.

This course will count towards one continual education unit.
