Ukrainian Fulbright Scholar to Speak at UNCW

Wilmington, N.C. – Nadia Kabachenko, a Fulbright Scholar from Ukraine, will speak on “The Changing Situation in Ukraine” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8 in Dobo Hall, Room 134, on the University of North Carolina Wilmington campus. The lecture is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided after the talk.

Kabachenko is at UNCW for the year studying policies of homelessness with the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice. She will be joined by her husband Peter Korov, a television producer, who will add his insight as well.

This lecture is sponsored by the departments of history, sociology and criminal justice, and the Honors Scholars Program.
