Wilmington, N.C. – Saxophonist Frank Lane and bassist Chris Morris will give a joint recital at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27 in Kenan Auditorium at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. The event is free and open to the public.

Lane will play selections by J.S. Bach, P.M. DuBois and Lex Van Delden. Pianist Karen Rice will accompany Lane’s performance.

Morris will play one of his own compositions, “Decepticon,” and several jazz standards, including “Donna Lee” by Charlie Parker and Jummy Van Heusen’s “Here Is That Rainy Day.” Joining Morris on stage will be Shaun Mahoney on guitar, Jerald Shynett on piano and Steve Bailey on bass.
