Wilmington, N.C. – The University of North Carolina Wilmington will host Kids College, a two-week summer camp for rising first through fifth graders. It is designed to give them a campus experience with hands-on, interactive activities to ignite their imaginations.

Two sessions are planned: June 20-July 1 and July 11-22. Classes will be from 8 a.m. to noon on the UNCW campus. The cost is $250 per session.

The program is structured to enhance self-esteem, promote the importance of teamwork and build academic, creative and physical skills. Certified teachers will provide instruction in Spanish, performing arts, movement education and reading/storytelling.
