Cropp Named Media Specialist at UNCW

Caroline Cropp has been named media relations specialist in the Office of University Relations at University of North Carolina Wilmington. Among her responsibilities will be editing @UNCW, the university’s electronic faculty and staff newsletter, assisting with media relations, and managing the speakers bureau and the news and events Web site.

Caroline graduated from UNCW in 1999 earning a B.A. in psychology and English with a concentration in creative/professional writing. She will graduate with a Master of Arts in liberal studies in December 2005. Prior to joining University Relations, Caroline served as learning resource center coordinator for the School of Nursing at UNCW. In addition, she is a UNCW Alumni Association member, vice president of Omicron Delta Kappa, Chi Omega personnel and social advisor, vice president of The Chi Omega Wilmington Alumnae Association and a Wrightsville Beach Association member.
