Thursday, September 15, 2005

For Immediate Release -- Sept. 15, 2005

--Campus and building assessments for damage from Hurricane Ophelia began immediately after the storm passed and are ongoing by Office of Facilities, University Police, and Housing & Residence Life personnel. However, please use today to assess your offices and areas for damage from Hurricane Ophelia. To report any hurricane related damage to your work area, call the Physical Plant Work Order Desk at ext. 3101 and state the exact location (building and room number) where the damage occurred and the specific type of damage. To ensure that proper questions are asked about the damages, the online request system will not be available for Ophelia related concerns. Please be patient, as we will be processing a large number of calls throughout the week. Thank you for your assistance and patience in reporting Ophelia issues.
