UNCW is currently within the hurricane watch area for Hurricane Ophelia. The university has issued a mandatory evacuation for all resident students. All UNCW events and activities, including classes, are canceled. An announcement on campus closing for all faculty and staff will be made at 6 a.m. EST Tuesday, Sept. 13.
