WILMINGTON, NC – Do you know a UNCW alumnus/alumna or a Seahawk supporter who has made “outstanding contributions” to the university and the area community? If so, Nov. 30 is the deadline to submit nominations for the UNCW Alumni Association awards for Alumnus/Alumna of the Year and Citizen of the Year. The two awards will be presented Friday, Jan. 27 at a formal dinner Homecoming Weekend in the Warwick Center ballroom.

To nominate a candidate for either award, please send a letter of recommendation to the UNCW Alumni Association Board of Directors. Specify the award category and why the nominee merits the award. Include the nominee’s name, address, daytime telephone number and workplace. Letters should be mailed to Caroline Norelius, UNCW alumni relations executive director, Wise Alumni House, 1713 Market Street, Wilmington, N.C. 28403.
