Wilmington, N.C. – The next University of North Carolina Wilmington Surplus Store Sale will be held from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2005 at the Warehouse Extension on Plyler Drive. Parking will be available street side and in the parking lot located behind University Police.

All surplus items are priced at $100 or less. Although items in the Surplus Store will vary, the types of items available this month include computers, computer speakers, monitors, appliances, beds, desks, tables, chairs, storage cabinets, file cabinets, bookcases and more.

UNCW Surplus Store Sales are open to the general public for cash sales only. No checks or credit cards are accepted. Items are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties. The university cannot deliver items sold. And all goods purchased must be taken away from the Warehouse by 3:30 p.m. on the day of the sale. Loading help will be minimal for this sale and will require a liability release from the customer before assistance is given.

Sales are generally held the third Friday of each month, but interested persons should check the surplus Web site at http://www.uncw.edu/ba/surplus/index.htm for specific dates.
