Wilmington, N.C. - University of North Carolina Wilmington will hold its 70th commencement exercises 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Trask Coliseum. This year's fall commencement has 1017 undergraduate and 195 graduate students projected to receive degrees. Students who completed requirements for graduation in Summer 2005 are included in fall commencement.

Ceremonies for the College of Arts and Sciences and the professional schools (Cameron School of Business, Watson School of Education and the School of Nursing) will be broadcast live in their entirety by UNCW Television over the Learning Network on Time Warner Cable channel 5 and Charter Cable channel 12.

Please note: The last day of university exams is Friday, Dec. 9. UNCW will be closed for the holidays beginning Friday, Dec. 23, re-opening for business Tuesday, Jan. 3 2006. Spring semester classes start Wednesday, Jan. 11.
