Wilmington, N.C. - In conjunction with the 2006 University of North Carolina Wilmington Homecoming celebration, the African American Graduate Association (AAGA) is sponsoring a Voices of Praise Homecoming Reunion Concert.

Current and former members of the UNCW gospel choir will perform at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29 at Mt. Zion AME Church, located at 1111 N. 5th Street in downtown Wilmington. This event is free and open to the public.

Other UNCW Homecoming events sponsored by AAGA include an Alumni Social from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27 in University Union 100, followed by the annual step show at 8 p.m. in Hanover Gym. This event is being hosted by J-Breezy and Big B. Tickets are on sale at the University Union Information Desk. Prices are $10 for students in advance, $12 for general public in advance and $15 for students and the public when purchased the day of the show.

There is also an AAGA Board Meeting and Social from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 in Warwick Center Ballroom 104 and a luncheon at noon in University Union 100.
