UNCW to Host Southeast Regional Science Fair

Wilmington, N.C. - The University of North Carolina Wilmington Science and Mathematics Education Center will host the Southeast Regional Science Fair at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 4 in Hanover Hall.

Participants include students from Brunswick, Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico, Pender, Sampson and Wayne counties, in addition to Camp Lejeune and Clinton. Elementary, middle and high school students will compete for the opportunity to advance to the N.C Science Fair on March 25 at Meredith College in Raleigh.

Student registration begins at 8:30 a.m. This public is invited for viewing at 1:00 p.m. and to stay for the awards ceremony at 2:15 p.m. There is no charge for admission.
