UNCW's Top Music Students to Perform in Upcoming Recital

Wilmington, N.C. - Top students from the University of North Carolina Wilmington Department of Music perform in a special Honors Recital at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2 in Kenan Auditorium.The students, chosen by audition one week prior to the event, will perform selections from their musical repertoire studied during the semester. Showcasing the most talented artists in voice, piano, strings, winds, and percussion instruments, the program is an eclectic evening of music ranging from the classical to the contemporary. The recital offers students the opportunity to perform solo in front of a larger audience and offers the university and community at large a glimpse at the next generation of promising musicians. This event is free and open to the public.

Housed in the College of Arts and Sciences, the UNCW Department of Music offers a Bachelor of Music in performance, a Bachelor of Music in music education, and a Bachelor of Arts in general music.
