Donations Sought for 2006 Senior Class Gift
Monday, May 01, 2006
Wilmington, N.C. - Upcoming University of North Carolina Wilmington graduates are encouraged to donate towards the 2006 senior class gift. The class gift is a fountain celebrating "Rebirth" that will become a fascinating center piece in the new student union. The "Rebirth" fountain is a way for graduates to commemorate their years together before they embark upon their futures. In the new student union, the fountain can be seen from outside even at night. This gift symbolizes the senior's new lives and will be finished this month.
Graduating seniors along with their student organizations are cordially invited to forever become a part of the senior class gift. All donations are welcome, but a gift of $100 or more will guarantee that your name will be engraved on a name plate placed on a plaque next to the fountain. All donors who give $25 or more will be honored by having their names inscribed in the commemorative gift book to be placed on reserve in Randall Library.
The "Rebirth" fountain is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Only those who participate in the project this year will have his or her name placed next to the fountain. The deadline to donate is May 12.
