Media Advisory - Erskine Bowles' Visit to Camp Lejeune Military Base, June 28

Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C. - Erskine Bowles, President of the University of North Carolina, will visit Camp Lejeune base officials Wednesday, June 28 for a University of No rth Carolina Wilmington presentation on its collaborations in Onslow County.President Bowles will receive a briefing, tour and demonstration at the Military Operations in Urban Terrain facility. The presentation will take place at the Gunnery Sgt. Terry W. Ball Center.
Accompanying Bowles will be various education officials including Martin Lancaster, President of the North Carolina Community College System, Rosemary DePaolo, UNCW Chancellor and Beth Barton, Director of Onslow County Extension Program and Military Liaison of UNCW. Marine Corps Installations - East, Maj. Gen. Robert C. Dickerson and Col. Adele E. Hodges, commanding officer, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune will also be in attendance.
