Memo to Media: Famed Science Journalist Revkin Talk, Nov. 30

Wilmington, N.C. - Members of the media are invited to cover a visit to University of North Carolina Wilmington by Andrew Revkin, prize-winning author and environment reporter for The New York Times. One of America's most honored science writers, Revkin has covered issues from murder in the Amazon to research on the floating ice cap at the North Pole to the political clash over global warming. He most recently published The North Pole Was Here: Puzzles and Perils at the Top of the World.He will give a free talk, "On the Front Lines of Climate Change: From the North Pole to the White House," to students at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30 in the Lumina Theatre located in the Fisher Student Center.
