Reilly Named Assistant Director of Cultural Arts

Wilmington, N.C - Courtney Reilly has been selected Assistant Director of Cultural Arts at University of North Carolina Wilmington. Her appointment was effective Nov. 1. She has served as events coordinator for the UNCW Office of Cultural Arts and Department of Music for the past year.Included in her responsibilities are the maintenance of the cultural arts Web site and arts calendar and assisting in the planning and implementation of the office's special events, programs, residencies and outreach activities. She will also work with the UNCW marketing and communication staff on the design and distribution of cultural arts publicity material.
Prior to coming to UNCW, Reilly worked as an associate producer in documentary and reality programming. She served as events coordinator at Brooklyn Academy of Music, the nation's oldest performing arts center. She graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where she majored in theater studies with minors in religion, philosophy and communications.
