Wilmington, N.C. - Current weather conditions look favorable for the second and final part of a controlled burn to begin at approximately 10:30 a.m., today, Feb. 19, in the back of campus, along Cahill & Walton Drive. There may be a fair amount and a noticeable odor of smoke coming from the area of the burn. Do not be alarmed. All safety precautions will be in place. This event is being conducted by the N.C. Division of Forest Resources with assistance from UNCW Landscape Services.
