An off-campus fire at the Abbotts Run apartment complex in Wilmington today resulted in some loss of property. There were no known deaths or injuries; however, some UNCW students living there have been displaced. The apartment's management firm, Grayco Properties, has provided alternate housing for all residents displaced by the fire. UNCW's office of the Dean of Students is working with Grayco Properties and the Red Cross to identify which of the residents were UNCW students and to assist those students as needed. Students needing assistance can call the Dean of Students office between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at 910/962-3119, or after hours, the university police at 910/962-2222.
