RE: Special Called Meeting of UNCW Board of Trustees Executive Committee

3:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, Alderman Hall 110

Please be advised there will be a special called meeting, by conference call, of the UNC Wilmington Board of Trustees Executive Committee beginning at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 13, in Alderman Hall, Room 110.

Most of the meeting will be held in closed session as allowed by the Open Meetings Act in order to "prevent the premature disclosure of an honorary award or scholarship" [NCGS 143-318.11(a)(2)] and to "establish or instruct the staff or agent concerning the negotiation of the price and terms of a contract concerning the acquisition of real property" [NCGS 143-318.11(a)(5)].
