The University of North Carolina Wilmington Lumina Theater will host more than 11 film series with over 35 individual titles in spring 2008. More films will be added as the semester progresses.

Movie fans can now access the full schedule in four different ways: by visiting www.uncw.edu/lumina for the complete schedule with movie descriptions; picking up a bookmark at Sharky's Box Office for listing of shows for the current month; calling 962.2900 for a two-week listing of movies; or by texting "movie" to 90947 on a mobile phone to receive a text listing of the next shows.

Ticket prices range from $2 to $4 and many movies are free to all attendees. For those who wish to save time and avoid waiting for movie tickets before the show, Sharky's Box Office offers advance tickets for ACE Blockbuster, ACE Independent, the African Diaspora and Filmed in Wilmington shows. These tickets go on sale during the week of each show, starting on Monday. Popcorn, candy and drinks can also be purchased in Sharky's Game Room.

Lumina Theater will also host the live performance of The Vagina Monologues on Sunday, Feb. 17.

Sharky's Box Office hours are Monday-Wednesday: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Thursday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday: 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; closed on Sundays.
