Media Alert: Full Volume Test of Seahawk Warning Siren System Monday, Jan. 12 at NOON

The University of North Carolina Wilmington will conduct a full volume test of the Seahawk Warning Siren System on Monday, Jan. 12, 2009 at noon. This is only a test and will last approximately 4 to 5 minutes. UNCW students, faculty, staff, visitors and neighbors are not required to take action when the siren is sounded at this time. The Seahawk Warning Siren System is an outdoor emergency warning tool and may not be audible inside all university buildings. For further information, visit www.uncw.edu/siren. 1. 1.
